About me

Jing-Chen Zhang张京晨

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University, working with Prof. Yuan Liu on the quantum information in molecules.

In the winter of 2026-2027, I will visit Prof. Timur V. Tscherbul's group at the University of Nevada, Reno for a research stay to study the quantum information aspects of reaction dynamics.

My doctoral research at the University of Maryland and the Joint Quantum Institute, with Prof. Yu Liu and Prof. Paul S. Julienne, focused on the quantum control of ultracold molecules, with the thesis titled: “Preparation of Ground-State Ultracold Lithium Dimers and Coherent Control of Their Reactions: A Theoretical Study”.
